Gibson Musical Instruments Get your yah-yahs and yuk-yuks from the new Epi calendar

Epiphone has produced some of the most beautiful guitars in the history of musical instruments, and the latest beauties are featured in the new 1998 Epiphone calendar.

As you can see from the sneak preview, every month features a strikingly elegant, mysteriously alluring creation, like the Riviera 12-string that has been chosen as Miss Epi September

Aficionados of fine art can appreciate the thinly veiled social statement of the pristine-perfect guitar resting on the graffiti-assaulted street.

Those with a special eye for graphics will note the stark contrast of red and black type in the calendar text, and the angular simplicity of the typeface.

And those with a sharp eye for the ladies will notice in the background that the guitar holders are actually women.

As an extra added feature, Epiphone has included a joke of the month.

Stop us if you've heard this....

Q: What did the drummer get on his IQ test?
A: Drool.

Okay, how about this one...

Q: How can you tell a drummer's at the door?
A: The knocking speeds up.

Stop it, you're killing me. Okay, one last joke....

Q: What does it say on a blues player's tombstone
A: "Well I didn't wake up this morning."

That's about all we can stand. For the rest of the jokes and the rest of the photos, pick up the real thing at your authorized Epi dealer.
