[ Les Paul Double Cutaway Studio ] The double-cutaway Les Paul body ranks with the sunburst Les Paul Standard, the Flying V, the Explorer and the ES-335 as one of the legendary Gibson designs introduced in 1958. In 1997, this classic shape moved into the upper echelon of the Les Paul family with a carved maple top and humbucking pickups. The Les Paul Double Cutaway Studio represents two traditional Gibson concepts joining together to create a unique new guitar.
