J-200 75th Anniversary Custom Koa
J-200 75th Anniversary Custom Koa
The latest Five Star Dealer exclusive is also the last of Gibson’s celebrated 75th Anniversary limited editions for 2012, paying tribute to the great "King of the Flat-Tops." The J-200 75th Anniversary Custom Koa combines the best hand-picked, master-grade Koa with the legendary J-200 design for a beautifully finished guitar with the robust tone that makes this model famous. To commemorate the occasion, each guitar has "75th" engraved in the 12th fret marker, and the years of production "1937 & 2012" engraved in the four-bar Moustache® bridge.

This highly collectible tribute to the first King-of-the-Flat-Tops features hand-selected, master-grade Koa back and sides with a beautiful, handmade dark-tortoise pickguard that compliments the premium Sitka spruce top. In addition to its gorgeous grain and elegant appearance, Koa has a sweet, rich tone that complements the large-bodied J-200 design. Gold Imperial tuners and solid mother-of-pearl truss rod cover accompany the Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Finished with Gibson’s thin, high-gloss, hand-sprayed nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this beautiful anniversary J-200 will age beautifully over time as the finish and woods mature together.

Handcrafted by the acclaimed luthiers of Gibson's acoustic facility in Bozeman, Montana, production is strictly limited to 75 guitars worldwide and supplied exclusively to Gibson Acoustic's Five Star Dealers. These dealers are the experts in their field, and all have a trained and certified Gibson Acoustic Specialist on their sales staff, to enable them to provide the finest possible service to players and collectors seeking premium Gibson acoustic guitars.

Each guitar includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity and anniversary label, Gibson hardshell case, an owner's manual and Gibson Gold Warranty.
