Which Rock Supergroup Announced Their First New Song In Five Years?
Chickenfoot – the rock supergroup comprised of Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Joe Satriani and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) – have just released a brand new song.
Titled ‘Divine Intervention’, the new track - described by Satriani as "bone crunching, hell raising rock, dripping with attitude and vibe. Just the way Chickenfoot likes it!" – is currently streaming and will be part of their upcoming Best + Live collection, which releases tomorrow. Chickenfoot formed in 2008 and have since released two studio albums. Talking about the upcoming Best Of collection, frontman Sammy Hagar said, “"Listening to this collection of songs from the ‘Foot brings back memories of some of the most fun I've ever had in a band. The chemistry between Chad, Joe, Mike and me is very special. It's almost like visual music. You can see us having fun when you listen to these songs."
