Got any rare or unusual Who items? If you do, the band would like to hear from you. As Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey prepare for the group’s 50 th anniversary tour, they’re asking fans throughout the world to dig out rare and lost recordings, forgotten radio and TV performances, fan-shot concert footage, bootleg recordings, rare photos and memorabilia.

The best or most interesting items will be included among the group’s forthcoming 50th anniversary releases, with credit going to the people who offered the items up for use. Each respective fan will also receive two VIP tickets to an upcoming show.

As an example of what they’re looking for, Townshend and Daltrey cite the 2002 concert movie, The High Numbers at the Railway Theater, a film a Dutch fan shot and kept in his possession for nearly 40 years. Fans with items that potentially fit the bill can email Who representatives at TheWho@umusic.com.
