An all-star cast of musicians is set to perform a Texas benefit show to aid victims of Hurricane Harvey. Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, and James Taylor are among the high-profile artists who will take the stage at Austin’s Frank Erwin Center on September 22. Others taking part in the event—dubbed the “Harvey Can’t Mess with Texas Benefit Concert”—include Lyle Lovett, Leon Bridges, Edie Brickell, and house band Asleep at the Wheel. Veteran Texas rocker Charlie Sexton will act as musical director.

“We got lucky when Hurricane Harvey avoided Austin, but though it missed us, it hit our neighbors hard,” said Austin Mayor Steve Adler, in a prepared statement. “Every time I’ve asked you to help our neighbors you’ve risen to the challenge. Now we have an opportunity to do good by being our best, and that means putting on a show and having a good time. Let's show the world what it means to be the Live Music Capital of the World in the greatest state in the Union. I’ll be there and hope to see you, too.”
