Noel Gallagher says he wouldn’t reform Oasis even if “all the starving children of the world depended on it.” Speaking to NME, the guitarist was asked if there was any truth to Liam Gallagher’s Oasiscomment that the band was set to reform in 2015. “I know it [reforming] is the done thing these days and what people do, but it's not what I do. I know bands reform and 'They're bigger than they ever were' and 'They're more successful than they ever were', but … at any given time, we were one of the five biggest bands in the world. We were the biggest thing to come out of England in 35 years. Why would we do it [again]?”

Gallagher went on to say he doesn’t miss his former band. “I enjoy what I do now,” he said. “This is a lot harder work than Oasis was. This is very hard on the brain, [but] Oasis was hard on the soul.”
