Metallica have released the trailer to their upcoming 3D movie release Metallica Through The Never. The trailer shows the rockers performing "Master of Puppets" with flames erupting around the stage. The performance is interspersed with shots of rioters, and a car crash. The film is directed by Hungarian director Nimród Antal, and aside from the concert there is a story arc centered around a fictional member of Metallica's road crew, played by Dane DeHaan.
The concert part of the film is taken from three concerts in Vancouver last year. Metallica Through The Never is released exclusively to IMAX theaters on September 27, before opening everywhere on October 4.
