It’s been a long while since we’ve heard any music from the other Gallagher brother from Oasis. Since the demise of Beady Eye, his post-Oasis band in 2014, Liam Gallagher’s concerned himself more with his clothing line and his always-entertaining stream of tweets, (with the most interesting ones often targeting older brother Noel).

However, there’s been a fair amount of talk and rumor this year about the possibility of a Liam Gallagher solo record and finally, the singer behind hits like ‘Roll With It’, ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Supersonic’, ‘Live Forever’, ‘Don’t Go Away’ and more, has put out his debut solo single. Given his bluster over the years, the song – titled ‘Wall Of Glass’ – has been surprisingly well received. Watch the video here.

Interestingly, Liam Gallagher’s recent tweet wishing brother Noel a happy birthday and a (now deleted) tweet from a member of the Black Eyed Peas led to rumors that the two feuding brothers would reunite at an upcoming benefit concert for Manchester organized by Ariana Grande. However, Liam Gallagher shut down the rumors, saying while he was open to the idea, he was scheduled to play another show in Berlin on the same date.

There’s no official release date for Liam Gallagher’s upcoming album titled As You Were, but it seems like an announcement might be imminent. Stay tuned.
