James Brown will not go peacefully, but then did you think he would? Seven months after his death, one of his estate's trustees has resigned after being accused of misappropriating funds. At a court session in South Carolina last week, David Cannon, who also resigned as co-executor of Brown's will, handed over a check for the 350-thousand dollars he was accused of absconding with. Complicating matters even more, Brown's former pastor, the Reverend Larry Fryer claims that a portion of the flamboyant singer estate belongs to the I Feel Good Trust for needy children. Fryer told the Augusta [Georgia] Chronicle, "If we're paying all of the money to all of the legal sources, what's left for the children?" Another hearing is scheduled for September 24th.
