While John Lydon was recently grousing, “Do you know how broke the Pistols were? Until that ’96 reunion tour, we never got a pay-off at all. We never saw a penny.”

British music sources reported two admissions to this week’s Sex Pistols’ show in Glasgow sold via eBay for precisely that amount: one pence each.   —Jerry McCulley
