“Rock The House” is a cross-party British Government initiative designed to encourage live music and to raise the importance of Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) in the creative industries.

And on July 1, Gibson Brands were again on hand help out and present prizes.

This is the fourth year of Gibson Brands as an official Associate Sponsor in this event. “Rock The House” is the creation of Mike Weatherly, British Member of Parliament, in partnership with leading music industry practitioners. There was a competition in two parts to find and showcase the newest and most talented bands and the most innovative live venues.

Entrants are solicited through over 200 MPs who each put forward an artist from their constituency. The winners played at the reception for politicians from all parties on The Terrace at the Houses of Parliament on July 1 Attendees included members of the cabinet, media and key executives from the music industry.
