Day of Errors

Former Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward has been forced to cancel a handful of upcoming U.S. dates with his band Day of Errors because of health issues.

"I wound up in (the) hospital this past weekend with heart problems," Ward explained on his Facebook page "I am okay and in good recovery at this time. However, I’ve never experienced this particular type of heart problem before and due to its nature, I had to make the decision to cancel the dates… I’m so sorry we won’t be making it.”

All of the tour dates have been permanently canceled and will not be rescheduled. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. The canceled dates begin with Ward's show Dec. 7 in Eugene, Oregon, and wrap up on Dec. 15 in San Diego, California.

Ward and Sabbath broke ties several years ago, and it was never exactly clear if it was due to an issue with band members or Ward's health. Following his exit from Black Sabbath, Ward unleashed a solo record, Accountable Beasts, in 2015. He also put together Day of Errors in 2016.

Get well soon, Bill!
