Foo Fighters

Performing as the musical guests for the last Saturday Night Live episode of 2017, everybody’s favorite band the Foo Fighters brought good vibes and Christmas cheer like only they can.

For their first performance, Dave Grohl and Co. performed ‘The Sky Is A Neighborhood,’ the second single off their latest album Concrete and Gold. They then returned for a second performance, beginning with Grohl in a cheerful red sweater singing a stripped down, acoustic version of Foo Fighters classic ‘Everlong.’ Naturally, the hush didn’t last long, as the lights came on to reveal the full band – with three backing singers – as they launched into high-riffage versions of ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’ by Darlene Love and ‘Linus and Lucy’ from the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s A Charlie Brown Christmas. Watch footage of the performance here.

Foo Fighters are set to play a sold out New Year’s Eve show in Las Vegas before heading out to Australia and New Zealand for the next leg of their massive year-long Concrete and Gold Tour.
