The Eagles, who are currently touring the US with their History Of The Eagles Tour, have announced they’re bringing the show to the UK for what might be the band’s last visit to Europe. Glenn Frey hinted at this being the band’s last tour at a press conference earlier in the year, saying: “I don’t want to say it’s our last world tour, but it very well could be.”
The tour is set to kick off in Birmingham on May 28, before continuing on to Glasgow (May 31), Dublin (June 4), London (June 16), and Leeds (June 23) before finishing up in Manchester on June 25. Although no other European dates have been announced, it certainly looks like there might be more in the works considering the huge gaps between dates in the UK leg, especially considering that Frey said “Europe is definitely in our sights for 2014,” during the aforementioned press conference.
Original Eagles guitarist Bernie Leadon, who reunited with his old band mates earlier this year, will also come along for the UK trek.
