Britpop fans can finally stop holding their breath: Blur have announced that their reunion will continue into 2013.

Prior to their Olympic-closing appearance at London's Hyde Park, the band had hinted that they were about to wrap up their reunion. But now they've booked a headline spot at Belgium's Werchter Festival in July 2013 (alongside Rammstein), with more gigs expected to be booked during the year.

In a posting on Facebook, the band stated: "Thank you for waiting… Rock Werchter is about to announce that Blur will headline next July. We’re excited.. hope to travel in 2013 to play to more of our lovely fans who we haven’t seen for a while. Don’t know where yet, we’ll tell as soon as we do.. Stand by."

A DVD/CD release of the Hyde Park show will be out next month. It'll be a nice deluxe package with a 60-page hardback photobook and songs from the band's intimate warm-up concert at London's 100 Club. Hardcore fans probably all already have the digital version of the ‘ParkLive’ show, which has been available for a few months. That version was mixed, mastered and released within 24 hours of the show via Abbey Road's Live Here Now service.
