In response to the devastation caused by the Northern California Wildfires this month, promoters and artists are coming together to organize a benefit concert in San Francisco on November 9.

Labelled Band Together Bay Area, the concert will raise funds for those people affected by the largest wildfires in California’s history. Leading the line-up are Metallica and Dave Mathews Band, with Dead & Company, Rancid, G-Eazy and Raphael Saadiq also on the bill. The concert will take place at San Francisco’s AT&T Park and 100 percent of ticket sales going to the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund.

In an announcement, Metallica said, “We’re extremely saddened by the suffering that so many are feeling in the Bay Area, but are also inspired by the enormous outpouring of love and support from all around the country and want to jump in and help in the way we know how to – through music!”.
