The Tool/A Perfect Circle drama keeps on building. Both bands – which feature Maynard James Keenan – haven’t released new albums in over a decade. More importantly, both bands seemed to be gearing up to release said albums, though there’s no official confirmation from either.

A Perfect Circle – the rock supergroup that Keenan formed with guitarist Billy Howerdel in 1999 – recently signed with a new label this March, with Howerdel even tweeting about new music releasing this year.

Keenan, Howerdel and Co. recently wrapped up a 21-date spring tour of the US and have now announced a further 28-stop tour of North America, with stops in New York, Boston, Portland, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle and more.

A Perfect Circle’s fall tour commences at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA on October 21 and wraps in Eugene, OR on December 4.
