Highlights from the National Tejano Music Convention and Awards Show at the Las Vegas Hilton, August 17 and 18:


Cesar Rosas of the East Los Angeles Mexican roots rock band Los Lobos performing with his 1958 Custom Shop Les Paul Reissue at the 2007 Tejano Music Convention. The performance was the highlight of the evening as over 2000 Tejano fans from all over the nation came to the opening day of the convention which was held at the Las Vegas Hilton. The convention and awards show highlighted performances from some of the biggest names in Tejano, Conjunto, and Regional Mexican music. Gibson was proud to be the official instrument sponsor of the convention.
