Many of the world’s greatest guitarists gathered in Chicago this past weekend for Eric Clapton’s 2007 Crossroads Guitar Festival to support Clapton’s Crossroads Centre.

Recreating the success of the original Crossroads Guitar Festival, Clapton’s special benefit concert featured performances from Gibson heavyweights like Sheryl Crow, Johnny Winter, Hubert Sumlin, Doyle Bramhall II, Derek Trucks, and many more.

Gibson was there every step of the way to support the festival, which benefits Clapton’s Crossroads Centre, a leader in the treatment of chemically dependent persons. Besides a series of activities and promotions in the Gibson tent, a media event was held to celebrate Clapton’s famous Gibson ES-335.
