Reports to Web Director
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years developing with .NET framework (1+ years with 2.0),
C#, IIS and ASP.NET.
· Minimum of 4 years developing HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
· Ability to maintain multiple projects with ever switching priorities.
· Advanced experience with MS SQL 2005, SQL stored procedures, queries and
database maintenance.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
· Ability to respond to technical inquiries and complaints from users and
customers.
· Experience with full software project lifecycle including requirements
analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of web software.
· Knowledge of software testing best practices.
· BA/BS in relative field or comparable work experience.
· Experience with Web Services, XML, XSLT, AJAX, SEO and ActionScript
are a plus.
· Advanced database and server administration preferred.
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain the functionality of all Gibson.com sites and Content Management
System.
· Maintain code base using SVN.
· Administer and maintain databases.
· Optimize site and applications for use with content delivery services.
· Offer support for technical issues.
· Provide formal technical and/or user documentation as required.
