Gibson Guitar Corp, the world's premier manufacturer of musical instruments and gear, is seeking an experienced Product Analyst to work with the Electric/USA division based in Nashville, TN. 
 
Title: Product Analyst
 
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to the General Manager – Electric/USA Division
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Assess competitive products, pricing, and market strategies
·         Identify market opportunities for core products
·         Identify required changes for core products
·         Identify margin optimization opportunities for current products
·         Identify market opportunities for special (new) products
·         Identify key market trends
·         Maintain domestic and foreign price lists
·         Ensure price points and products are consistent and positioned correctly
·         Analyze and establish inventory levels
·         Ensure the Gibson USA website is continuously up-to-date and consistent with brand positioning
·         Present analyses and recommendations to Divisional and Corporate executives
 
Success Metrics:
·         Revenue growth
·         Gross Margin growth
·         New product introduction success rates
 
Requirements:
·         Minimum 2 years experience
·         BA or BS degree
·         Strong analytical skills
·         Excellent MS Excel skills
 
Preferences:
·         MBA
·         Currently located in Nashville metropolitan area as relocation will not be offered
