Gibson Guitar Corp, the world’s leading guitar manufacturer, seeks a Human Resource Representative for a manufacturing division (about 150 employees) in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: • Implement and administer company policies and procedures and local, state and federal and international legal requirements.
• Management of recruitment, payroll and benefits administration
• Management of worker’s compensation and safety
• Administer new employee orientation and processing as well as exit interviewing
• Assist in investigation, research and case preparation for employee performance management and discipline process.
• Develop and maintain HR reports to assist in managing the HR function and providing guidance and direction to operating management.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills; motivated; self-starter
• Experience and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and HR information systems.
• Provide broad range, HR generalist support to multi-site organization.
This position will be the HR contact for all facilities associated with the Custom Division.
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with at least 3-5+ years related HR experience at the manufacturing level.
