Global Director of Credit. Based in our Nashville, TN corporate headquarters, we are seeking an energetic and aggressive team member to manage the credit function for all of our domestic and international operating entities.
Responsibilities include:• Manage the activities of credit appraisal, approval and credit collection for all Gibson global entities
• Strategic application of credit policy to insure company business objectives are realized
• Develops, implements and maintains credit systems, procedures and policies
• Manage floor plan, credit insurance, letters of credit, PMSI and other credit security tools
• Analysis of A/R and credit statistics and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organization
Requirements:• BA/BS in business discipline (MBA is a plus) with a minimum of 5-7 years senior credit management experience at a director or VP level.
• Expertise in credit collection, credit security and credit laws in US and international countries
• Experience with small and large retail credit constituents, mass merchants and distributors
• Proficient knowledge of floor plan financing, credit insurance, UCC/PMSI, letters of credit
• Ability to develop, implement and maintain credit systems, procedures and policies
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
• Hands-on manager who must be organized, disciplined, attentive to details and able to multi-task
• Must operate and thrive in a fast paced performance driven entrepreneurial culture.
• Strong business acumen - ability to understand big picture and the strategic application of credit policy
• Strong Word/Excel/Powerpoint skills and working knowledge of Great Plains is a plus
