Division Controller - Memphis
Gibson Guitar Corporation, the world’s premier manufacturer of musical instruments, is seeking a Division Controller to be based in Memphis, TN. The Division Controller will report to Gibson’s Director of Divisional Accounting and will have the responsibility of managing the accounting function for our Memphis division.
Highlights of Job Responsibilities:
·Weekly and monthly financial reporting
·Monthly closings
·Financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
·Cost accounting/inventory control
·General ledger accounting
·Management of A/P, A/R, and payroll
·Must have a history of credit, collections, cash applications
Minimum Job Qualifications:
·5-7 years in accounting
·Minimum 4 years experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
·Great Plains experience required
·Bachelor’s Degree
·Ability to manage multiple priorities and to multi-task
·Ability to interact with a varied range of people
·Must be able to meet reporting deadlines
·Must be able to communication with all levels of management in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must already be located in the Memphis area, as relocation is not offered.
