Gibson Guitar Corporation, the world’s premier manufacturer of musical instruments, is seeking a
Controller to oversee accounting functions in Asia. The Controller will report to Gibson’s Chief Financial Officer and will be based out of our Shanghai, China office.
Highlights of Job Responsibilities:• Weekly and monthly financial reporting
• Monthly closings
• Financial planning, budgeting and analysis
• Cost accounting/inventory control
• General ledger accounting
• Management of A/P, A/R, and payroll
Minimum Job Qualifications:• 5-7 years in accounting
• Minimum 4 years in a manufacturing/distribution environment
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Great Plains Experience required
• Must have a history of credit, collections, cash applications
