Buddy Guy Joins Clapton & Winwood in Chicago

Blues guitar legend Buddy Guy joined fellow legends Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood onstage during the duo’s stop in at Chicago’s United Center last week. Guy joined his friends for the encore, and delivered rousing renditions of the “Drowning On Dry Land” and the classic – and appropriate – “Sweet Home Chicago.”

Clapton and Winwood are in the middle of their highly anticipated 14-city tour, which wraps on June 30, at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Calif. They’ll be in Dallas on June 23, Houston on June 24, then Glendale, Ariz. on June 26, June 27 in Las Vegas, and June 29 in Oakland, Calif.
