Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jessie Baylin recently took time off her tour with Marc Broussard to stop by Gibson's Seattle Showroom. Among the topics? After months of fiddling around, she's learned guitar well enough to begin playing it on-stage for the first time. Jessie is on the road in support of her release Firesight, which makes good on the critical praise and grass-roots fan support that’s already been heaped upon the 24-year-old artist.

Gibson.com met Theory of a Deadman founding members Tyler Connolly, Dean Back and Dave Brenner on their tour bus in Nashville, Tenn., this past weekend, where they goofed around before opening up for Hinder and Mötley Crüe in a show that was shot through with pyrotechnics later that evening. On the road through May, Theory of a Deadman are keeping their guitar tech busy, adding to their ever-growing collection of Gibson guitars and basses.

This is Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and his uncle, James Quine, playing "Trouble Weighs a Ton," the first track on Auerbach’s new solo album Keep It Hid. This performance was filmed in Auerbach's studio in his Akron, Ohio, hometown. It was Quine who taught Auerbach how to sing and play guitar.
