Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry spoke to MusicRadar.com’s Joe Bosso this week, spilling his guts about his guitar collection, work on his solo record and an upcoming tour with ZZ Top. Of course, good ol’ Joe B. also got Joe P. to talk about his favorite Gibson guitar, Billie, a customized BB King Lucille model that has his wife Billie’s visage painted on its maple top.
"Billie is a beautiful instrument," said Perry. "First off, it's a BB King 'Lucille' guitar. We've made a few alterations, and of course it has a stunning picture of my wife on it. She's gorgeous, the guitar is gorgeous — how can I not look good playing it?"
