Brian "Head" Welch, former member of Korn and one of their founding members, has named September 9 as the release date for his upcoming solo album Save Me from Myself. The first single, "Flush," will be on iTunes on July 8.
Welch's memoir of the same name, Save Me from Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story, enjoyed a stay on the non-fiction bestsellers list upon its release last year.
In 2005, Welch quit Korn after 10 years with the band, announcing that he had been saved by Jesus Christ in front of 10,000 people in his Bakersfield, California hometown.
