In this course Steve covers Proper Strumming Technique, gives you a Simple Strumming Pattern, and teaches some Creative Strumming. In the How Music Works section he talks about Intervals. Some keys to good strumming technique include holding your pick firmly, keeping your wrist loose, strumming the accurate number of strings on the down stroke, but on the up stroke just hit a few strings, and strumming smooth strums with no hesitations.
