Strange TV: Larry King Interviews Mötley Crüe

Mötley Crüe have made a number of television performances to promote their recent reunion, its consequent Saints of Los Angeles album and Crüe Fest tour. But the strangest may be this extended interview on CNN’s Larry King Live, where the 50-years-and-counting radio/TV broadcasting veteran introduces the band with typical subtlety, calling them “possibly the dirtiest, drunkest, most drug-addled rockers who ever cleaned up their act―but there’s plenty of hardcore grime left behind … here are my pals, Mötley Crüe!”
