Epiphone Supports Park Sounds at Canary Wharf in London

From Monday 21st – Friday 25th July Canary Wharf Arts & Events will present Park Sounds. Park Sounds is five days of musical entertainment showcasing fresh talent from new and emerging artists on stage in Canada Square Park, London and taking the form of a competition.

During the five days, a dazzling array of musical styles, from indie to jazz, classical to folk will provide lunchtime entertainment, between 12 noon to 2pm, each act doing their best to secure as many as votes as possible from the audience in order that they can make it through to the grand final on the evening of Friday 25th July and have the chance to become the 2008 Park Sounds winner. Epiphone is supporting the event by supplying an Epiphone DR 100 acoustic guitar as part of the main prize.

From Monday to Thursday five acts will perform a 15-minute set with one from each day continuing to the grand final on the Friday evening. The audience will have the chance to vote online when the performances finish each day on www.parksounds.co.uk .All voters will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £100 Canary Wharf Gift Cheques.

On the evening of Friday 25th July, each of the four finalists will play a 30 minute set with a panel of four judges, including a special guest judge, selecting an outright winner who will then perform an encore.
