Gibson Guitar to Support The Last Man Standing Saloon at Glastonbury 2008

Gibson Guitar will be supporting the Last Man Standing Saloon at this years Glastonbury Festival on June 27th, 28th and 29th Gibson Guitar will provide full backline support with the loan of various Gibson guitars, amps and a Slingerland drum kit to be used by last Man Standing and specially invited artists.

This years Glastonbury Festival will see headline performances on the world famous Pyramid Stage from Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, The Verve, with support coming from artists such as Amy Winehouse, The Fratellis, The Gossip, Editors, Mark Ronson, The Zutons, Leonard Cohen, Biffy Clyro, Crowded House, The Raconteurs, James Blunt and Neil Diamond to name a few.

Last Man Standing, were named ''London's Best Unsigned Band'' by The Guardian newspaper and will serve as a house band, filling in the gaps and inviting artists from others stages to guest appear for a Jam. The idea is for this to be the last place on site to close down--thus the name.

The Last Man Standing Saloon will be a well-designed haven for music fans needing shelter from more superficial aspects of large festivals.

The Last Man Standing Saloon is also confirmed Bestival, with more appearances & acts to be confirmed soon! The stage is a full-service bar, cabaret and restaurant presenting an eclectic array of live music that they call Delta Remix: klezmer, swamp rock, ska, blues, gospel, bluegrass, Weimar cabaret, rockabilly, R n’ B, race music, swing, and garage rock. All presented by Max Vanderwolf and Last Man Standing who will be performing as house band at the event.
