In a trade for some free publicity for his new album Cardinology, singer/songwriter Ryan Adams swallowed his pride and took a job as a lowly intern at the offices of BlackBook magazine.
The East Village fixture and former Whiskeytown frontman may be able to pack clubs with his heartstring-tugging ballads but that still didn’t stop him from filing expense reports, fetching coffee, sending faxes and being burdened with various other administrative tasks.
Adams’ latest record with backing band The Cardinals was released on Oct. 28 through Lost Highway records. Look for him soon at a typing-pool near you.
