This style, most often associated with Jimi Hendrix, Cornell Dupree, and Steve Cropper, consists of harmony notes played in many cases using slides, as well as hammer-ons and pull-offs.
In this lesson, the combination of all three techniques will be utilized, along with some string bending to show some of the variations available to you.
Many of these runs have always been referred to and used as "fills", but they are often an important part of soloing as well, as illustrated by their appearance in Jimi Hendrix's style.
