John Lennon J-160E Peace

Every Gibson Acoustic Guitar Features:
• Nitrocellulose lacquer finish for beauty and tone.
• Hand-fit, tapered dovetail joint to maximize sound vibration transfer from the
   neck to body.
• Radius top to maximize sound projection
• Hand-scalloped top bracing for added strength and a light top

Limited edition replica of the Gibson that Lennon used faithfully while recording, in movies and for live performances. The Peace Model resembles Lennon’s guitar in 1969, after he stripped away the psychedelic paint job he commissioned in 1967.
The day after John Lennon received his J-160E in 1962, he played the guitar on the Beatles first single "Love Me Do." The J-160E remained Lennon's guitar of choice and was used extensively in the studio, on tour and on television appearances.
