Lee Ritenour CD Contest Rules

OFFICIAL RULES

1. HOW TO ENTER: Complete the entry form here. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

You may enter by mail by submitting your name, address, telephone number and email address to "Ritenour CD Contest", c/o Gibson Guitar Custom Shop, 657 Massman Drive, Nashville, TN 37210.

Contest begins at 12:01am CDT on 8/20/02. All entries must be received by 11:59pm CDT, 9/03/02.

Only one entry per name, postal address or email address. More frequent entries will be disqualified.

2. SPONSOR: Gibson Guitar Corp., 309 Plus Park Blvd. Nashville, TN 37217 and Welk Music Group, 2700 Pennsylvania Avenue, Santa Monica CA 90404

3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Fifteen (15) prize winners will be determined in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 09/06/02 by selected employees of Sponsors from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email, telephone or U.S. mail. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if prize is returned as undeliverable.

4. PRIZE: One (1) Rit's House CD per day, 8/20/02 through 9/03/02, fifteen (15) CDs total. Sponsors responsible only for prize delivery.

5. ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to individual legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, age 13 or older, except employees (or members of their immediate families or same household) of Gibson Guitar Corp., Inc., and Welk Music Group its affiliates, judges, agents and advertising and promotion agencies.

6. WINNERS LIST: To obtain winners list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope by U.S. mail to Gibson Custom Shop, Ritenour Winners, 657 Massman Drive, Nashville, TN 37210. Requests must be received by 09/15/02.

7. MISCELLANEOUS/DISCLAIMERS: No illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries will be accepted. Contest representatives not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed or misdirected entries, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Only one entry per name, street address or email address will be accepted. More frequent entries will be disqualified. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsors and will not be returned to entrants.

This offer is void outside of the United States and the District of Columbia and where prohibited or restricted by law. This offer is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of prize winners. This Contest will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Tennessee or State of California. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. By participating in this Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges, and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Contest. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsors, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities
