I am 53 and have been playing Les Pauls for 40 years. I still own a real 1956 Goldtop that I bought used in the '70s. I play guitar in a bar band called Driving Rain. I bought a BFG as soon as I saw them on the Gibson website. I think I got one of the first ones from November '06 production. I love it! It sounds sweet and nasty—all in one guitar.
