Les Paul BFG Player

"When I ordered my BFG, it took three months to get to me, not Gibson's fault, just the place I ordered it from didn't have any so I had to wait till one was built. Kinda cool getting a guitar that hasn't been hung on a rack while 1,000 people come into a store and butcher 'Stairway To Heaven' on it. When I got it, the first thing I noticed was how much lighter it was than what I was used to, and when I plugged it in it played and sounded like a dream.

The overdrive on my Marshall had it screaming and the P-90 had a nice, rich, warm sound to it. It also had a very clear clean sound on it as well, and with a little chorus would sound perfect. I can already tell that this will be my go-to guitar in the studio and live (after putting on some strap locks, I move around a lot and I wouldn't want to drop it). I know some people don't like the stripped down look, but the distressed vibe was something I had been looking for for a while. It needed no set up at all when I got it and I find that surprising because I'm kind of a freak when it comes to that sort of thing. Me and the BFG are the perfect match for each other. We may not be the best looking couple at the prom, but we sure can dance!"
