Monday 13th February 2006- Paul Weller was in a buoyant mood prior to an exclusive, intimate gig at the Gibson Guitar studio in London. Before the gig, Gibson Guitar presented Paul with a J-200 acoustic in Vintage Sunburst in recognition of his Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, which he is picking up at the 2006 Brit Awards being held on February 15.

Weller performed an eight-song acoustic set on his Gibson J-45 (pictured) with Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene to a highly charged Virgin Radio audience of 100 competition winners. The 30-minute gig will go out on the Ben Jones Most Wanted show on Virgin Radio.

Paul Weller went on last night to perform an electric set of Jam and solo classics at a secret gig in front of 300 people at the famous 100 Club on Oxford Street.
