Gibson's Music Rising Les Paul was the star of the show at the Grammy Celebrity Lounge this weekend. Entertainment giants like James Taylor, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Jamie Foxx, and Dave Chappelle all dropped by to play it. Unveiled by U2 guitarist the Edge, the Music Rising campaign is dedicated to raising money to aid musicians affected by the devastating hurricanes of the Gulf Coast region. The Music Rising Les Paul, beautifully crafted by Gibson and available at Guitar Center, is a limited-edition, hand-painted guitar that uses the colors of Mardi Gras to pay tribute to the rich musical traditions of the region. All proceeds raised from sales will go directly to Music Rising, with a goal of raising $1 million in support.
