Gibson Guitar is proud to be the official sponsor of the best band category at this year’s Muso awards. The Muso awards now in its second year, is the most credible rock n’ roll music awards ceremony and it all happens at KOKO in Camden on Wednesday November 23rd. voted by musicians for musicians.

 

Previous winners have included Ian Brown, who says of the event, “I don’t usually do awards, but this one means something because it’s voted by my fellow players and musicians”.

 

Nominees include... Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles, Carl Barat, Bloc Party, Clor, Coldplay, the Coral, Graham Coxon, the Cribs, Dogs, Franz Ferdinand, Futureheads, Goldfrapp, Gorillaz, Hard-Fi, Kasabian, Maximo Park, Oasis, Ordinary Boys, the Paddingtons, the Rakes, Razorlight, Supergrass, the Tears, the Zutons and many more.

 

There will also be special performances from Metro Riots, DOGS, the Young Offenders Institute and Athlete (acoustic), with more TBA, including very special guests and collaborations. 

 

There will also be DJ sets from renowned rock n roll DJ’s including Primal Scream’s Mani.

 

Other sponsors include Xfm, Marshall and HMV.
