The Gibson tour bus sets off to deliver help and hope to hurricane victims...

Home

Gibson Chairman and CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz, along with select Gibson employees loaded up the Gibson tour bus yesterday morning (Oct. 4) with numerous boxes of items donated by employees, and also 36 acoustic guitars donated by Epiphone. The bus then set out to visit various hurricane shelters for residents who were relocated (Oct. 4-8).

In addition to the shelters, the bus will be stopping at hospitals which have taken in children and adult survivors. On each stop, Gibson employees will distribute donated items and guitars, as well as take the time to sing and play with hurricane victims.

Due to the recent hurricane Rita, many evacuees and shelters have been relocated. Gibson has routed a schedule of stops in Tennessee, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Throughout the trip, employees will be documenting each stop as well as life on the tour bus. Check back daily for updates and photos!
