Stars came out to support NBC's “The Today Show” and Gibson Guitar during the week long Habitat for Humanity series to aid Hurricane Katrina Relief. For the entire week (Sept. 26-30) stars helped build Habitat for Humanity homes for many who were left with nothing after Hurricane Katrina hit.

After pounding some nails, the stars took time to autograph one of several exclusive Gibson guitars which will be auctioned off for the Hurricane Katrina Relief efforts. Stars from television, film and sports were all on hand to join the NBC and Gibson Guitar forces at Rockefeller Center in New York throughout the week.

Warner Bros. Records recording artist Josh Groban and Elektra/Atlantic recording artist Tracy Chapman headlined concert performances in New York's Rockefeller Plaza, which is being called "Humanity Plaza," where for five days, homes will be literally built around the clock for families displaced by Gulf Coast hurricanes.

The special performances are in support of "Make a Difference Today," the hurricane relief initiative announced earlier this week from NBC News' "Today," Warner Music Group and Habitat for Humanity International. Toyota, sponsor of "Today's" annual concert series, is sponsoring this very special line up.

Other artists who performed in the plaza include Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Stevens, The Films, World Leader Pretend and John Butler Trio.

The goal of "Make a Difference Today" is to rebuild a minimum of 100 homes in the Gulf Coast that were destroyed during the recent hurricanes. This project will produce the very first Habitat for Humanity homes - dubbed "houses in a box" - that will arrive in the region over the next few months. As part of this initiative, WMG artists and WMG, NBC Universal employees will also pitch in to help build Habitat for Humanity homes in Burbank, CA
