GIBSON CUSTOM JOINS THE 2005 COUNTRY MUSIC MARATHON SATURDAY, APRIL 30^TH, 2005 IN NASHVILLE

WHO:            Gibson Custom and Country Music Marathon

WHAT:           Gibson Custom has partnered with this year’s 2005 Country Music                   Marathon & ½ Marathon the weekend of Saturday, April 30, 2005.  Celebrating its sixth year in Nashville, the Country Music Marathon’s elite invitational field will compete for cash and prizes on race day. 

                        All runner’s eyes will be on the prize purse valued at more than $80,000 including cash, a new vehicle and the coveted exclusive Gibson Custom guitar designed especially for the marathon.

                        Over 17,000 participants will be running or walking along the

                        Scenic marathon courses lined with more than 50 live bands,

                        25 cheerleading squads, 5,000 volunteers and thousand of

                        encouraging spectators.  The event benefits The Leukemia and

                        Lymphoma Society.
