Baldwin’s three-month piano tour in China, which began in March, is bringing concerts, piano education, as well as the art of piano, to more than 40 cities around the country, including Tianjin, Jiangxi, Hebei, Beijing and Liaoning. The tour, which began in Nanchang CityJiangxi Province, is attracting numerous local pianists, piano educators and piano fans.

Throughout the tour, Baldwin will display two classical, vertical pianos as well as the nine-foot, concert grand SD10 piano, and will feature performances from such famed pianists as Zhou Guangren, Liu Shikun and Baldwin artist Vladimir Viardo. 

“The musical journey of Baldwin piano takes us from the best pianos in America to now the best pianos in China,” said Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of parent company Gibson Guitar. “We are very excited about promoting local musical education throughout China and plan on supporting many more Baldwin showcases and special events.”
