Epiphone Hosts The Official Unveiling of the Paul McCartney Epiphone

 

Exclusive Unveiling Gives Press Chance to See Guitar For Very First Time

Nashville, Tennessee…January 15, 2005..   Epiphone will host a special unveiling of the Epiphone Paul McCartney Texan on Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Pulse Lounge room in the Anaheim Hilton Hotel from 6pm-7pm.  Press and invited guests will have a chance to view the special McCartney guitar for the very first time at this special event

 

The Paul McCartney Epiphone Texan guitars have been designed and produced under the strict supervision of Sir Paul himself. The first run of 40 hand-built Epiphones produced in the United States have been autographed by the musical legend himself and followed with a run of 150 and a third run of 250. Through a collaborative effort of the Epiphone and Gibson Montana Acoustic division, the McCartney Texan guitars . The guitar is an exact replica of the one McCartney used to write and perform the single “Yesterday” while with the Beatles. It was also the guitar McCartney used in his appearance on the Ed Sullivan show that same year. The guitars are each hand-distressed to duplicate his Epiphone as it appears today.
