Gibson Audio Announces the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System With Sound By Thiel FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…Nashville, Tennessee…January 4, 2005 Gibson Audio has introduced the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System, designed to bring beautiful cabinetry, user-friendly design and top-quality sound together in a single unit. Features of the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System’s left, right and center channel speakers include 6 ½" woofers with aluminum cones, magnetically stabilized short-coil motor systems and very high output tweeters with neodymium powered long-gap motors. The system has Thiel 360-watt power amps for each channel. The subwoofer features 10" very high output woofers with short coil system, 20-pound magnetic structure, cast chassis and aluminum diaphragm. It also features a 500-watt high efficiency amplifier and patented electronic compensation for “room wall” sonic effects.
