Gibson Audio Announces the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System With Sound By Thiel

Gibson Audio has introduced the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System, designed to bring beautiful cabinetry, user-friendly design and top-quality sound together in a single unit. The piano-quality cherry wood cabinet  (63"W, 50"H, 25"D) includes ample storage for media and components materials, hosts a 50" plasma screen and is supplied with speakers designed by the world’s premier provider, Thiel.

Features of the Wurlitzer Home Theatre System’s left, right and center channel speakers  include 6 ½" woofers with aluminum cones, magnetically stabilized short-coil motor systems and very high output tweeters with neodymium powered long-gap motors. The system has Thiel 360-watt power amps for each channel.

 

The subwoofer features 10" very high output woofers with short coil system, 20-pound magnetic structure, cast chassis and aluminum diaphragm. It also features a 500-watt high efficiency amplifier and patented electronic compensation for “room wall” sonic effects.
