        EPIPHONE PARTNERS WITH THE 2008 VANS CUP IN TAHOE, NEVADA FEBRUARY 29TH - MARCH 2ND, 2008

 

Nashville, Tennessee...February 26, 2008....Epiphone Guitar announced its partnership with the 4th Annual Vans Cup in Tahoe, Nevada at the Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, February 29th - March 2nd, 2008.  The Vans Cup is considered the most important professional snowboarding competition on the West Coast with a total prize of more than $200,000 and exclusive Epiphone trophy guitars awarded to the various winners. Snowboarding's brightest stars including former Olympian Danny Kass, Mason Aguirre, Ross Powers and J.J. Thomas will all descend on Tahoe to compete in this year's competition. Other athletes include Todd Richards, Andreas Wiig, Chad Otterstrom, Andy Finch, Leanne Pelosi and Hana Beaman.

 

Epiphone will provide the official trophy guitars customized exclusively for the event. They will be presented to the winners of the men's and women's slopestyle, men's and women's superpipe and the rail jam contest.  All presentations will be featured in an official vans.com podcast direct from the competition. Athletes and guests will be able to enjoy the sights of Tahoe and the sounds of Epiphone throughout the three day event.
